The Likeness of Birds
It all began with a gift. The Ruby Throated Humming Bird was a gift to my grandmother after not seeing her for almost a year. I had never painted an image of an animal before with such care and attention to detail that I surprised myself with what I could do. Thus , the series of unrelated paintings of birds was unleashed.
